The Village Rossendale is a community built on care, connection, and celebration. Located in the heart of Waterfoot, Lancashire, we exist to empower children and young people with additional needs, and to support their families and carers, by creating a safe, inclusive place where everyone belongs.
Our Mission
We believe it truly takes a village to nurture each individual’s growth and confidence. Through thoughtfully curated support, engaging activities, and genuine community spirit, our goal is to ensure every person with additional needs feels:
- Seen & Supported: A safe haven where individuals can truly express themselves and be embraced for who they are.
- Encouraged to Develop: Practical life skills and social opportunities delivered with warmth, from simple cooking and self-care to confidence-building day-to-day moments .

Our Impact
We see the difference in the joy and confidence our members and families gain every day. Our testimonials speak volumes:
“We are so grateful for the opportunities available to our son at Slime Club. The sessions enable him to socialise with peers in an environment that he feels comfortable in with trusted staff.”
“Finding the right environment where she feels safe, happy, and engaged is so important — and this club has been a perfect fit.”
