Break Time Sessions
Our breaktime ‘Slime Club‘ sessions, funded by Lancashire County Council, will continue at our new site in Waterfoot, Rossendale.
Feel at Home
Where everyone can truly be themselves, in a safe, comforting, and welcoming environment that supports individuality and growth.

A Journey
Our ‘It Takes a Village’ movement will continue to evolve, growing stronger as it moves forward and supports the SEND community with care and commitment.
What to Expect…

SEND Cooking Classes
We’re looking to book SEND cooking classes, moving on from basic food preparation in our Break Time sessions – Watch this space for more information! These sessions will offer exciting new skills and challenges.

Karaoke Evenings
We know all so well, that teenagers and young adults with additional needs, would love to be able to do the same things that other young adults would be doing, so karaoke evenings are coming!

Celebration Days
Mothers Day, Fathers Day, and any other days that can be celebrated… We will have events booked in throughout the year – As with all of our events, and sessions, booking is essential.
What People Say About Our Village…

Mrs M
Parent of FM
We are so grateful for the opportunities available to our son at Slime Club. The sessions enable him to socialise with peers in an environment that he feels comfortable in with trusted staff.

Mrs N
Parent of R
It’s Slime for Fun is the best provision my children have ever accessed. Klair and the team have taken care of my little ones for many years.

A&C
Foster carers
We have been accessing slime for fun since 2018 as we have children with special needs and find it almost impossible to find appropriate clubs for them to attend during the school holidays and especially on a Saturdays.

Parent of Cerys
Five Stars – A Wonderful Place for My Daughter!
Slime for Fun Club has been absolutely amazing for my daughter Cerys, who is 17, autistic, and non-verbal. Finding the right environment where she feels safe, happy, and engaged is so important — and this club has been a perfect fit.

Be a Part of Our Village
There has been a keen interest from local businesses, asking how they can best support children and young people with additional needs. It’s amazing to see Rossendale respond in such a way, but we didn’t expect anything less!
If you would like to know how you can support our ‘it takes a village’ movement, please get in touch – hello@ittakesavillagerossendale.co.uk
